Resurrection and the Life

Dana Crosby

As we remember the ultimate sacrifice and celebrate the priceless redemption that Jesus, Yeshua, purchased for us, we continue our study of the book of John. We have previously studied the unusual dialogue Jesus had with Nicodemus about the requirement of being "born again" to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. In today's study of John chapter four, Jesus violates Jewish sensibilities by engaging a Samaritan woman in conversation. And she's not just any woman. She's an immoral woman. And Jesus doesn't just have a talk about the weather. He talks about water...and invites her to learn about eternal life. Let us rejoice together that Jesus had a mission to save sinners, like the woman at the well, and like us.
